MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The elevation of Mont Blanc, the second-highest mountain in the Alps, situated on the French-Italian border, has decreased by almost one meter (3.2 feet) since 2017, amounting to 4,807.81 meters (15,773.7 feet), as estimated by expert surveyors of the Haute-Savoie department, media reported on Wednesday.
