US Sanctions Suffocate Syrian People, International Community Must Act, Foreign Minister Says

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The international community should step up with its assistance to Syria as the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate under the US-imposed sanctions which are suffocating the people in the country, Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad told Sputnik.
