Anthropic Expands Claude Voice Mode With Opus, Sonnet AI Models

Claude's Voice Mode has received a major beta update that brings support for the Opus and Sonnet AI models alongside new connected services. Users can now access Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Slack and web search while speaking with the chatbot, without switching back to text. The update also allows seamless transitions between voice and text conversations, retains chat context across both modes and expands Voice Mode's capabilities beyond its earlier dependence on the Haiku model.
