AT LEAST 11 people are dead and over a dozen injured after a gun rampage at a Russian army training base near the Ukraine border tonight. Reports claimed three soldiers opened fire on comrades at the training ground of the Western Military District in the southern region of Belgorod. Two of the three gunmen were killed by return fire, while one reportedly escaped. An official statement of Russia’s MoD said: “At the training ground of the Western Military District in the Belgorod Region, two citizens of one of the CIS countries committed a terrorist act. “As a result, 11 people died, 15 were injured and receive medical assistance. “Terrorists fired on the personnel of the unit. Two terrorists were destroyed by return fire. “Law enforcement agencies are working at the site of the terrorist attack.”
