THIS is the bizarre video of a man living his “dream” of becoming a collie after forking out £12,500 to look like one. The dog lover, known online as Toco, spent two million Yen (£12,500) on the eerily-realistic dog costume to fulfil his “lifelong ambition”. It took 40 days to be made and is now used in photos and videos for social media where Toco acts like a real-life pet. His most recent video shows the Japanese oddball on all fours inside the costume as he played fetch and even got locked in a cage. “My name is Toco, I wanted to be an animal and I became a collie,” he wrote in the description on YouTube. The bizarre footage showed him standing on all fours in front of a camera with piano music playing in the background. Toco’s channel has more than 28,000 subscribers since his first video emerged online last year. The latest weird footage got more than 650,000 views, with users praising Toco for “living his dream”. One wrote: “It’s the uncanny valley that freaks people out. “Though it may be weird for many of us , as long as they’re not harming anyone there shouldn’t be an issue. “He’s just living his childhood dream. These videos are interesting to watch!” Another replied: “I had just discovered your channel today, but after watching a lot of your videos I was really drawn to them and honestly I think it’s pretty wholesome, especially since you’re fulfilling your childhood dream which is amazing! “Keep up the good work and adorable content!” A previous video showed Toko once again dressed as a collie, this time standing on all fours as jaunty piano music played in the backfround. He lifted his paw twice in an apparent greeting before raising his left paw. He was then seen rolling on the floor. Toko-san says the collie is his favourite breed, and the suit has helped him “fulfil my dream of becoming an animal.” He said: “I made it a collie because it looks real when I put it on. “I thought that a big animal close to my size would be good – considering that it would be a realistic model, so I decided to make it a dog.” He added: “There are restrictions, but you can move in it. However, if you move too much, it will not look like a dog.” YOUTUBE/@I_want_to_be_an_animalThe man, known as Toco, said being a dog had always been his dream[/caption] The £12k eerily-realistic dog costume took 40 days to be made YOUTUBE/@I_want_to_be_an_animalHis latest YouTube video gathered more than 650,000 views[/caption]
