Boxing champion sentenced to death in Iran just for ‘protesting’ in chilling execution spree

A BOXING champion has been sentenced to death for “protesting” in Iran’s chilling execution spree. Afkari was accused of killing a state security guard during the anti-government protests in the summer of 2018. According to the Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Navid and his brother Vahid Afkari were severely tortured to give confessions.
