COPS have launched a manhunt for a British ex-con in Spain who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend during a row at a Costa del Sol beach club. The 36-year-old, said to have several convictions for violent crime in the UK, is said to have knifed his partner who then fell from a moving car as they left a venue in Mijas Costa near Fuengirola. The man reportedly fled the scene after stabbing his girlfriend at a venue in Mijas The injured woman, who is also thought to be British, ended up by the side of the road following the incident at the start of the week. Detectives are still trying to ascertain whether she was pushed out of the vehicle while it was still in motion or jumped out of the car to escape her aggressor. She was treated in hospital for a leg injury and other injuries including cuts and bruises but has now been released. The man police are hunting, who has been fully identified but has not yet been named by police, is believed to have left Spain via Gibraltar according to local reports. The Civil Guard is leading the search for the suspect.
