He had gone for his swim at at Sant Roc cove, a residential area of the town surrounded by a beautiful setting of rocks, cliffs and old fishermen’s cottages. Police sources said an autopsy had yet to take place but early indications were pointing to him drowning in a tragic accident. An investigation, which is being coordinated by a local investigating judge, was ongoing today/yesterday (SUN). It was not immediately clear if the woman who raised the alarm was the man’s partner and whether they lived in the area or were on holiday.
