She was bitten multiple times on her face, neck and arms by the raging beasts and also broke her arm, according to cops. She is believed to have completely lost her right ear in the attack before being airlifted to Townsville University Hospital. Doctors said the amputee was in stable yet serious condition after undergoing surgery. The dogs were hunted down by police who later put them to sleep following the horror mauling, a council spokesperson confirmed. The owner has also been given notice to comply with council laws to restrain their other dogs. In April a six-year-old girl was mauled by a bullmastiff dog in Brisbane after he pulled her off a fence she was sitting on. She suffered horror injuries to her stomach, chest and shoulder and was rushed to Queensland Children’s Hospital in a serious condition. In a separate attack, a nurse in her sixties had her ear bitten off by a three-year-old Bullmastiff before the owner managed to drag the dog off. Surgeons were unable to reattach her ear after the terrifying attack.
