DRAMATIC footage shows a crocodile coming face-to-face with two sharks. The video was captured by fisherman in Kimberley, Western Australia who watched as the apex predators swam past each other. A crocodile comes face-to-face with two sharks in western Australia Two tawny nurse sharks are shown swimming underneath a huge saltwater crocodile who stays frozen still as the beasts float by. The video has resurfaced on social media after being captured in 2017. In the comments, one viewer wrote: “who says we can’t all get along?”. Another said: “Think that kind of a shark swam like two metres away from me while I was snorkelling. My heart skipped some beats.” Nurse sharks only eat prey which is smaller than themselves – however crocodiles have been known to feast on larger animals. This comes after a shark was filmed BITING an alligator near a dock in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina earlier this month. Thankfully, the gator appeared unharmed and kept floating along the dock while the shark swam away. Cory Conlon, who filmed the incident, said: “I was surprised to see this so I filmed it with my phone to show family and friends.” And in March, pictures captured the moment an enormous 1,500lb crocodile consumed a bull-shark in just one mouthful. Taken along the east coast of Australia, the croc can be seen approaching and then devouring its prey in an unlikely meeting of two apex predators.
