A FLIGHT to the UK had to make an emergency landing after a man suffered a medical episode on board. Cabin crew rushed to give the passenger CPR after it’s believed he suffered a heart attack en route from Faro to London. PAA flight to London had to be diverted after a passenger was taken ill[/caption] A witness told The Sun the plane – which took off at 10am – was diverted to Madrid to make an emergency landing around 20 minutes into the flight. When the plane ground to a halt, the stricken man was taken off by paramedics. A spokesman for easyJet confirmed the flight was forced to land as a passenger had been taken ill. They told The Sun: “easyJet can confirm that flight EZY2452 from Faro to Luton diverted to Madrid due to a passenger requiring urgent medical assistance. “The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is easyJet’s highest priority.”
