Ethereum Wallet Exploit Drains $7.8 Million in rsETH Tokens, Security Firms Warn

A Gnosis Safe wallet on Ethereum lost around 2,900 rsETH tokens worth approximately $7.8 million (roughly Rs. 74.7 crore) after an attacker exploited a faulty authorisation mechanism in a helper contract. Security firms said the issue was linked to a component trusted by the wallet rather than Safe’s core contracts. A trading bot known as Yoink later front-ran the exploit and captured most of the stolen tokens.
