GHISLAINE Maxwell has been dubbed the “prison Karen” after making 400 complaints – including not having any black hair dye. The convicted sex-trafficker has been moaning about her vegan food options, allergenic pillows and delayed legal calls, according to one insider. Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison after being convicted of five counts including trafficking a minor The inmate is currently serving her time at FCI TALLAHASSEE, Tallahassee prison in Florida Maxwell was arrested in July 2020 and charged with luring girls as young as 14 to be abused by her former lover, financier Jeffrey Epstein. While Epstein was found dead in his prison cell awaiting trial for sex trafficking in 2019, Maxwell was convicted on five counts, including trafficking a minor. She was sentenced to 20 years in jail and, as reported by the Daily Mail, the 61-year-old believes she is being given “unfair treatment” at low-security prison, FCI Tallahassee, in Florida. The entitled inmate has accused a laundry lady of being “rude” and launched several grievances towards other prison staff. An insider told the Daily Mail: “Max is the prison Karen. She can file a grievance over anything – she has over 400 of them. “She complains about the food, the bedding, when they cancel temple because of bad weather or are late setting up her legal calls. “The latest battle is over hair dye. Maxwell hates her grey showing through and she’s filed a grievance because they don’t sell it anymore.” According to the prison source, Maxwell paid another inmate $200 for some black hair dye before appearing on a TV interview. And, this is not the first time the sex-trafficker has raged about her new surroundings. In the first interview after her conviction, Maxwell spoke from the notorious Metropolitan Detention Centre in New York. The inmate revealed how a fellow inmate plotted to murder her as she slept in her prison bed. She said: “There was a woman who made a threat to act in a plan to murder me as I was sleeping. That is real. That happened. “Prisons are dangerous. I would tell anybody to do everything possible to avoid jail. “Jails are not safe spaces. I have seen guards selling drugs and, God, being inappropriate in every which way.” Her jail ordeal included maggoty food, a rat-infested cell, sleep deprivation and hunger which has become so extreme at points that she has resorted to eating Vaseline. “The food in Brooklyn was truly, truly terrible. One day I was so hungry that I ate the only thing I had — Vaseline”, the inmate explained. She imagined it was mayonnaise, she said, but it was still “very disgusting.” The 61-year-old also claimed she was spied on by prison guards and forced to live with rats next to an open sewage drain. In her first ever interview from behind bars she has claimed that she was being kept in “inhumane” solitary confinement the entire time and being treated like “Hannibal Lecter.” Speaking to the Mail On Sunday she said: “I used to go to the loo with an open sewer drain and a friendly rat would regularly visit. “I told the guards, but nothing was done until the rat popped out and charged a guard who screamed in terror. “Finally, the sewer drain was covered.” She added: “I used to take a shower every day but I’ve stopped because of the creepy guards who stand close and stare at me the whole time.” Epstein was found dead in his prison cell awaiting trial for sex trafficking in 2019PA Maxwell was arrested in July 2020 and charged with luring girls as young as 14 to be abused by EpsteinReuters
