Hellblade Developer Ninja Theory Hit With Layoffs as Studio Faces Closure

Ninja Theory has begun laying off employees as the British studio faces closure following the latest round of cuts at Xbox. Several employees confirmed that layoffs at the studio had begun. Last month, Xbox announced that two separate agreements to divest Ninja Theory had fallen through. Microsoft said it was in consultation with Ninja Theory employees over a proposed closure, but would continue to explore other options for the Hellblade studio.
