Hero dad died saving his four-year-old son after kayak capsized by holding up toddler while treading water

TRIBUTES have been paid to a heroic Dad who died after saving his four-year-old son from drowning when their kayak capsized. But, despite the best efforts of paramedics, Peter was sadly unable to be resuscitated and died at the scene.   His wife, Natalie has since paid tribute to her husband of more than 17 years in an emotional post on Facebook – calling him a “hero.” “Peter, my husband, my lover, my best friend, my partner in crime, my hero, I don’t know how to do life without you!” she wrote.  “You have been my rock for the last 17-and-a-half years. No one has my back like you do! “You are the most amazing, fun, loving, beautiful daddy.
