Pictures from Tori’s Instagram give an insight into her glam lifestyle that includes chopper rides, partying, a massive house and the odd lux getaway. But that wasn’t always the case, the 36-year-old told CNBC it took a lot of graft. Tori originally started out with £240 buying clothes and reselling them on eBay. Her husband helped her as they started to venture into all sorts of items that were going viral online. But with a passion for fashion, Tori created an e-commerce company called Pink Lily and began selling affordable clothes to women. The loving couple made a Facebook page and a website and never looked back. She said: “We had a goal to make £40,000 in sales in our first year of trading. “But to make more than £3million in our first year of business was phenomenal.” Tori was appointed CEO of her company and continued to grow it into a massive online retailer. In 2021 alone, Pink Lily reportedly turned over an eye-watering profit of more than £112million. She said: “Currently, we sell more than 11,000 products on our site every day. “We have a brick-and-mortar store and 250 full-time employees.” But the savvy entrepreneur admitted success came from finding a gap in the market. She said: “When I started my side hustle, I saw an unmet need for fashion-inclined women who wanted to be able to find a dress for $50 or less. “I knew I could help to fill that need in my own small way.” Nevertheless, Tori said taking a risk was worth it. She said: “Leaving corporate America was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. “I get to travel, I get to spend more time with my kids, we are debt free and we have the financial freedom to do so many things in life.” Instagram/torigerbigTori pictured with two of her kids[/caption] Instagram/torigerbigBecause of her bustling business she was able to build her dream home[/caption] Instagram/torigerbigShe also enjoys many glitz holidays[/caption]
