Indian Opposition Parties to Boycott Constitution Day Celebrations

On 26 November, India observes Constitution Day or "Samvidhan Diwas" to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Indian Constitution was adopted and came into effect on 26 January 1950.
