Inside Wagner boss Prigozhin’s mansion with gold bars, guns, disguises and photos of the severed heads of his enemies

THE extraordinary disguises of Wagner private army chief Yevgeny Prigozhin have been leaked following a raid by Russian secret services at his swanky mansion. The formerly close Vladimir Putin crony who staged an armed revolt against the Kremlin regime owned multiple disguises, wigs and fake beards to mask his true identity. Prigozhin could be seen wearing wigs and beards in various selfiesEast2West Not known, clear with picture deskGold and cash in various currencies was seen tucked away[/caption] A giant sledgehammer reads “For use in important negotiations” A framed photo of severed heads of Wagner traitors During the FSB search on Prigozhin’s palace near St Petersburg agents found gold bars, his personal arsenal of precious weapons, forged passports apparently used by the warlord, and suspected drugs.  In one photo, a giant sledgehammer can be seen on display with the phrase: “For use in important negotiations” – a chilling reminder of the brutal torture inflicted on Wagner traitors with sledgehammers. Another photo shows a closet full of various coloured wigs and beards, apparently used to allow the war lord to travel without being detected. It is claimed billionaire Prigozhin had used the disguises in Africa and the Middle East as he furthered Putin’s interests and deployed Wagner forces.  Multiple selfies Prigozhin took show him in disguises as military and defence employees from Sudan, Abu Dhabi, Libya, Tripoli, and Syria – further proving that Wagner does indeed have a heavy influence in Africa. It is understood Wagner Group plunders diamonds, gold, oil, and gas from countries in which they operate – as well as being paid directly by crooked regimes. Furthermore, Russian officials seemingly leaked selfies taken by the war lord in these costumes, causing an internet firestorm. Ukrainian official Anton Gerashchenko said: “These are not shots from a casting for a role in a cheap comedy, but a selfie of Prigozhin.  “The pictures were published by the Russian security forces. “‘In most of the pictures, yesterday’s ‘Hero of Russia’ is in Libyan uniform with Libyan epaulettes and elements of conspiracy.” Cash in multiple currencies was found bundled up in wads, alongside gold bars – sources estimate nearly £1million in cash was confiscated. Investigators also discovered a disturbing framed photo of the severed heads “of Wagner traitors”. In a hallway on a table, a stuffed alligator could be seen. A private prayer room with religious imagery and a private medical room were also on the property. The warlord seems to have a taste for the finer things, as a grand piano welcomes visitors below a spiral staircase, and a full sauna and spa are in the palace. Photos also reveal a private swimming pool, complete with a tiny water slide and pool cover. Yet the story becomes murky with reports that Prigozhin is not living in exile in Belarus – as Russians have been told.  Russian media outlets revealed he had been in St Petersburg to personally receive his private arsenal back from the FSB. Despite being forced into exile, the warlord seemingly has a lot of cash to fall back on, and is estimated to be worth billions – though it remains unclear if the Kremlin will seize it all. The Prigozhins reportedly have a palatial estate worth £7.5million, a 120ft £4.5million yacht called the St Vitamin, and a £3million Hawker 800 private plane. A raid on the Wagner Group HQ in St Petersburg last month revealed £38 million cash in US dollars and other foreign currency, along with a stash of gold bullion and fake passports from the warlord. Meanwhile, his mercenary group appears to be being broken apart, with Russia ordering they hand over heavy weapons and military kit as per the deal with the Kremlin.
