A TRANSPORT cop opened fire on a train in India today killing four, including three passengers and his superior. The train was traveling to Mumbai from Jaipur when the accused, Constable Chetan Singh, started shooting at 5am this morning after allegedly losing “his temper”. Inspector General Praveen Sinha said: “He had a short fuse, he was quite hot-headed. There was no altercation. He just lost his temper and shot his senior, then fired at whoever he saw.” After killing his senior officer, Tikaram Meena, the accused moved into a carriage and shot dead three passengers using an automatic weapon. The passengers have not yet been identified. The investigation is ongoing.
