A KNIFEMAN dressed as the Joker went on a stabbing spree that left 17 people injured on a Tokyo train today. The attacker ran amok among passengers before lighting a fire on a carriage during a horrifying rampage. The suspect reportedly poured out a liquid resembling oil before setting fire to it and torching the seats. One witness told the Yomiuri newspaper they saw the attacker wielding a blood-stained knife. They said: “I thought it was a Halloween stunt.Then, I saw a man walking this way, slowly waving a long knife.” Shunsuke Kimura, who filmed a video of the incident, told Japan’s public broadcaster NHK he saw passengers fleeing before hearing an explosion.
