Man freaked out after finding creepy secret staircase leading to tiny room behind ‘wobbly’ pantry wall

A WOBBLY back door in the pantry has led a man to discover a tiny room in his home he never knew existed. Logan Hunter was left freaked out by finding a creepy set of stairs behind the flimsy piece of plywood after he knocked on it and realised there was nothing behind. The spooky stair case behind the pantry TikTok/loganhunter_pLogan taking off the wobbly piece of wood hiding the stairs[/caption] He documented his spooky discovery in a Tik Tok video, which begins with him taking off a light switch so he can take off the wooden wall. “I literally think I just discovered a hidden room in my apartment,” he says. “I realised that this wall is really wobbly [and] there’s nothing behind it. So I’m going to take it apart and see what we can find.” Footage shows him removing a light switch cap and a piece of wood fixing the wall to its frame. He soon realises how poorly the plywood had been installed. As he pulls away the wall, an eerie staircase covered in dust heading to the ceiling comes into view, prompting a bleeped out expletive from Logan. Logan, from the United States, initially left viewers wanting more as he didn’t reveal what was at the top of the stairs. He made his way up the stairs which he said were “kind of nice and sturdier than I thought they’d be”. As he made his way further up, there was nothing to see other than huge piles of dust. When he arrived at the top he discovered what he described as a decent sized “cute room”. The empty space had two boarded up windows and nothing but an old dusty bandana and a bucket of woodchips on the floor. “Why would they have this closed off? You can even stand up. This is such a cute room,” he said. The video got hundreds of responses but some warned him of potential dangers like asbestos or unstable flooring. “The landlord probably didn’t want to invest in making it liveable so closed it off,” wrote one person. “Be super careful. It could be closed off due to lead paint, asbestos insulation, or other serious toxins and health hazards,” another said. Many others encouraged Logan to film a series of videos showing himself renovating the area to make it a nice living space.
