THIS is where Roman Abramovich’s multimillion-pound superyachts are currently sailing as the Chelsea owner has had his assets frozen by the UK government. Abramovich used to own an entire fleet of decked-out boats- but now he has just two superyachts, which are currently on the move. Solaris, which was built for the billionaire in 2021, is 458ft long – and it’s taller than Buckingham Palace. It was docked in Barcelona while receiving repairs until earlier this week when it was put to sea amid the seizures of other billionaires’ yachts. The £430million vessel was most recently tracked off the coast of Lecce, in Southern Italy, after leaving Spain. Abramovich’s superyacht joined a scramble of Russian-owned vessels hastily leaving European ports on Wednesday. The boat has several swimming pools and an outdoor beach club – as well as a helipad for landings. Abramovich’s second superyacht, Eclipse, was also seen in the waters this week. The 533ft mega-yacht was previously the world’s largest privately-owned boat. It was docked in the Caribbean island of St Maarten until a few weeks ago – when the £448million boat set off. And the superyacht, which is now known as “the $1.5billion yacht” has now been spotted off the west coast of Morocco. It was built in 2010 and its interior is kitted out by Terence Disdale – boasting a private cinema, aquarium, and a nightclub. Most read in The Sun BUSTED! Yesterday, Abramovich has been given 81 days to sell Chelsea – or risk the club folding. An astonishing day saw the Government effectively take control of the Blues after the Russian billionaire was placed on the UK sanctions list. As shirt sponsors Three suspended their £40m contract, Chelsea were facing a further potential near-£66m financial black hole with their Premier League and Uefa prize money likely to be withheld. And it emerged that the ‘licence’ that will allow the club to play on to the end of the season will NOT be renewed unless Abramovich agrees a sale – and walks away without a PENNY. Chelsea have been told that a deal must be agreed before the licence runs out on May 31 to guarantee the survival of the club as a functioning entity.
