It was just really bad luck – all the bad luck anyone can have in life. “It’s always terrible when you say, ‘Why is this happening to Michael or us?’ But then why does it happen to other people?” Tearful Corinna continues: “Of course, I miss Michael every day. But it’s not just me who misses him. “It’s the children, the family, his father, everyone around him. “I mean, everybody misses Michael, but Michael is here. Different, but he’s here and that gives us strength, I find.” In another moving clip she says: “I think that he is simply very strong mentally. Extremely strong. “He still shows me how strong he is every day.” Most read in News BOMB FEARS Westminster on lockdown as police swoop amid fears of 'suspicious' package 'HEARTBROKEN FOREVER' Woman, 20, 'beautiful inside & out' killed in crash with boyfriend DOUBLE LIFE Teen, 19, sues trust for 3M euros after test reveals she was swapped at birth DRIVEN UP THE WALL Woman horrified after coming home to find 20ft wall towering over garden MEX QUAKE One dead as 7.0 quake & tremors hit Mexico City sparking tsunami warning RUNAWAY PRINCE Andrew bolts for Balmoral in bid to avoid being served sex assault papers Discussing their family life, Corinna added: “We’re together. We all will.” Later in the film she says: “We try to carry on a family as Michael liked it and still does. And we are getting on with our lives. “’Private is private’, as he always said. It is very important to me that he can continue to enjoy his private life as much as possible. “Michael always protected us, and now we are protecting Michael.” ‘SOMEBODY SPECIAL’ Seven-times F1 champ Shuey suffered a near-fatal head injury in a skiing accident in the French Alps on December 29, 2013. Updates on his health have been rare in the years since, but the family has reportedly spent £20million on round-the-clock care at their homes in Switzerland and Majorca. Jean Todt, a close pal and his former boss at Ferrari, said this week he will “slowly and surely improve” offering hope for his millions of fans. In a 2019 update, Schumacher was reported to be making “good progress” but also “struggling to communicate”. A documentary about the life and career of the motorsports icon is set to be released on September 15. It features family home video and interviews with Schuey’s father and grown-up kids Gina-Maria and Mick. Racing driver Mick, now in his debut season in F1, says in the trailer: “When I look at him, I think, ‘I want to be like that’.” The trailer opens with Schumacher himself saying: “100 per cent perfection, I couldn’t live with anything lower.” In the same clip, Corinna describes her husband as “somebody special” as she talks movingly about their relationship.
