Missing Titanic submarine updates — Director James Cameron slams search for sub as ‘nightmarish charade’

THE TITANIC film director, James Cameron, has slammed the search for the missing submersible and claims he predicted the Titan’s implosion days before the debris was found. Mr Cameron said the search “felt like a prolonged and nightmarish charade where people are running around talking about banging noises and talking about oxygen and all this other stuff”. Speaking to BBC news he added: “I knew that sub was sitting exactly underneath its last known depth and position. That’s exactly where they found it.” It comes as the US Navy confirmed that a top secret system detected a sound indicating an implosion just hours after the Titan lost communication.
