A SEARCH is underway following the disappearance of a submarine that takes tourists on tours of the Titanic. Rescue crews have begun a desperate search of the Atlantic Ocean in a bid to find the vessel, which is used for tours of the spot where the Titanic sank. British billionaire Hamish Harding, French submersible pilot Paul-Henry Nargeolet and chief executive and founder of OceanGate Expeditions, Stockton Rush, are all feared missing, according to Sky News. During a press conference on Monday, officials confirmed that communication with the submersible came to a halt just one hour and 45 minutes into the exhibition on Sunday afternoon. The Titanic sank on its maiden voyage to New York on April 14, 1912, after hitting an iceberg – and has been seen as one of history’s major nautical disasters ever since.
