A THAI model has been found dead after going missing for a year in Bahrain. The body of Kaikan Kaennakam, 31, was discovered in a morgue after cops managed to identify her through a distinctive tattoo on her leg. She would regularly post images and videos online of her new life and share her experiences with her family and friends. Until she mysteriously stopped posting anything in April 2023, causing a huge panic in Thailand for what had happened. Kaikan’s family spent months trying to find her and even bought in the Thai Embassy to help locate her. They reached out to everyone they could think of who lived nearby to Kaikan in Bahrain and managed to contact the Thai community living in the Middle East to help the hunt. Until the Thai Embassy in Bahrain informed the family on April 18, they had found a woman’s body in the Salmaniya Medical Complex morgue. It had been sitting unidentified since last year after cops couldn’t identify the body at first. A tattoo on the woman’s leg reportedly identified her as the missing Thai worker. The cause of death was stated as ‘acute lung and heart failure due to alcohol poisoning’.
