Mum’s horror as daughter, 11, is crushed to death after falling from carnival float in front of her

A MUM was left horrified after her 11-year-old daughter was crushed to death in a freak carnival float accident. The fatal incident happened last week after the young girl fell from the colourful float during the festivities in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On the opening night of the carnival, the young girl had left her mum and climbed atop a float leaving the main Sambadrome parade area. The previous year, the festival went ahead as coronavirus was still just at its early stages of devastation but crowds were restricted.
