My holiday was ruined after my lip filler ballooned – here’s my warning to other holidaymakers

A HOLIDAYMAKER has warned others about the importance of sun protection after a horror reaction while abroad. Isabella Skeel had lip filler before jetting off to Spain, but believes her lips ballooned after sun exposure. But soon, her lips ballooned to twice their normal size, leaving Isabella in tears and forced to seek medical attention. Isabella said: “Girls use sunscreen if you have lip fillers. “Vacation in Spain ruined.” Clips showed her icing her swollen lips with a cold Red Bull can, a frozen bottle of water and other items. Some doctors have said sun exposure after lip fillers can reduce their effects or cause a severe reaction. Dr Mark Hamilton warned: “Sunbathing, sunbeds and intense heat (such as saunas and hot yoga) ideally should be avoided for 2 weeks after Lip Filler treatment.” He added: “Always use sunscreen even on cloudy days. “Research shows that excess sun exposure affects untreated skin and skin treated with facial fillers. “Excess Sun Exposure after filler injections can reduce their effects and irritate your skin as it reacts to the treatment during its healing process.” Viewers were quick to comment on her video, but Isabella warned: “If you laugh you’re going to hell!” One said: “I’m so sorry girl!” Another chimed in: “God love ya! Factor 50 all the way on those smackers now.” A follower said: “This happened to me and I haven’t had any fillers!!!” One woman revealed she’s so obsessed with the procedure she’s spent over £1,000 getting lip filler. Chanel Challacombe, 22, from Kent got her first injection of filler into her lips at age 20., to help boost her self-confidence. Now Chanel has had six sessions, with up to 2ML being injected each time and claims that her filler costs more than some peoples rent for two months. Claiming it has boosted her self confidence massively, Chanel doesn’t plan to not slow down any time soon. Chanel explains: “I have always wanted big lips, have also had filler in my chin too.  “It boosts my self confidence a lot as when I get filler, it makes me feel confident and happier in myself then when I don’t have it.  “Each time I get filler, I pay up to £299 a go, my sugar daddy will pay for it as they always offer. “I was bullied in school, and I have always struggled with my self-confidence.” Unfortunately, Chanel has received cruel comments form trolls online, but she has learned to ignore them.
