Mystery as Brit woman, 38, found dead and ‘covered in bruises’ in Cyprus apartment

A BRITISH woman was reportedly found dead in Cyprus with “bruises all over her body”. The body of the 38-year-old – who has not been named – was discovered at the apartment she shared with her partner in Kato Paphos. He told cops that he found her when he came home on Wednesday afternoon. She was discovered at around 4.30pm at their apartment, police said. According to initial examinations, the woman reportedly had “bruises all over her body” and two black eyes. Cyprus police chief, Michalis Nikolaou, said detectives have collected evidence from the scene for examination. Her body was taken to the Nicosia general hospital morgue – where an autopsy was set to take place at 1.30pm on Thursday. The investigation into her death is ongoing.
