Nicaragua Ends Diplomatic Relations With Taiwan, Recognizes 'There Is Only One China'

Managua announced on Thursday it was ending its policy of dealing with both Taiwan, also called the Republic of China (ROC), and the People's Republic of China (PRC), and would begin solely recognizing the Beijing government.
