Norway Introduces Alcohol Ban, Remote Work Amid Raging Omicron Infection

The Norwegian Institute of Public Health estimated that unless the spread of infection is curbed, the country of 5.2 million may see up to 300,000 daily infection cases. Assistant Health Director Espen Rostrup Nakstad compared the situation with the Omicron strain to that of March 2020, before the vaccination programme was underway.
