Proxy Force Militants Trained by US Special Ops Troops not Vetted for War Crimes

The US has a long history of training and arming guerrillas to destabilise countries whose governments it disapproves of — including the Nicaraguan contras and the so-called "Syrian Democratic Forces" mish-mash of sectarian militants.
