Remembering the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant Disaster

International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day is observed annually in memory of those who lost their lives in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in the city of Pripyat, the then Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic on April 26, 1986.
