VLADIMIR Putin has said that the Wagner group will be “brought to justice” following this weekend’s coup attempt. Putin appeared on a live video speaking to the nation after Russia was on the brink of civil war. “The country was united against this armed mutiny,” Putin said in the Monday night address. “The organizers of the mutiny were betraying their country…they will be brought to justice.” Putin went on to directly addressed the mercenaries and said they were now faced with a choice of either serving the Russian military by entering into a contract with the ministry of defence, or they could return home to their families.
