According to Pravda, the Ukrainians had held up their flag behind the Russians as they were giving their speech. It was reported that the Ukrainian MP’s used this tactic to try and disrupt the speech from Russian State Duma member Ola Timofeeva. Following the disruption, the speaker of the Parliament intervened and announced a break, demanding the delegation to be taken out of the hall. This is when the scuffle broke out between Marikovsky and an unnamed Russian delegate outside of the hall. While Marikovsky was posing for a picture, the man ripped it straight from his hands, sparking the angry Ukrainian to chase after him. A number of punches seemed to be thrown at one another before security staff got involved, NOEL reports. This comes after members of the Ukrainian Parliament attempted to disrupt a speech by Russian delegates during a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. Russia claimed that Ukraine had attempted to assassinate their President Vladimir Putin in a drone attack on the Kremlin in Moscow yesterday morning – which Volodymyr Zelensky has denied. Russia has since upped their own drown-strike action on Ukraine, and have targeted cities such as Kyiv and Odesa which are miles from the front lines. Overnight, Russia launched around 40 missiles with “for Moscow” scratched into them into the war-torn country.
