A DESPERATE plan has been put forward which sees innocent stray dogs utilised in Putin’s brutal war. Pro-Putin MP Fedot Tumusov has suggested training the pups to help wounded Russian soldiers and clear mines from conflict zones. The politician mentioned his plan on Russia‘s parliamentary televisions broadcast, which was discussing euthanasia of stray dogs in the country. Russia has a large number of stray dogs who have attacked many citizens in recent years. Tumusov said: “Cynologists would train large and aggressive dogs and send them to the war zone. “Let them help pull out the wounded, participate in demining.” Anton Gerashenko, adviser to Ukraine‘s minister of internal affairs, blasted Tumusov’s plan on his Twitter. Gerashenko commented: “In case you were wondering about the level of insanity in Russia.” In 2021 an 11-year-old boy was savaged by a pack of stray dogs in the country. A beautician was also skinned by the vicious dogs, who left her face completely disfigured. Tumusov’s plan is the latest desperate attempt by Russian forces to regain power in the war after they’ve suffered multiple humiliations in recent days. A suspected sabotage attack saw a train derailed in Russian-occupied Crimea this week. The massive explosion created a crater 7feet deep and nearly 50feet in diameter, according to an eyewitness. Witnesses reported hearing an explosion which left the freight train derailed near the village of Chistenkoye. Putin also launched a barrage of missiles towards Kyiv, but all except one were shot down, according to Ukrainian intelligence. The head of Kyiv‘s military administration, Serhiy Popko, declared that all enemy targets had been destroyed in a Telegram post. He said: “A series of air attacks on Kyiv, unprecedented in their power, intensity and variety, continues.” Just days ago, Moscow also claimed to have blown up the $1.1billion US Patriot missile system, which has proved a crucial bit of kit in protecting Kyiv. However, Ukraine said six “unstoppable” Kinzhal missiles were shot down as the nation makes the most of its influx of Western defence systems.
