Former US President Donald Trump joined CNN on Wednesday for a “town hall meeting” that quickly descended into a Trump-style rally. The decision to invite Trump onto their network was heavily criticized by both CNN insiders as well as viewers, as Trump consistently referred to the network as “fake news” during his presidency.
