South African Medical Association Says Omicron Variant Causes 'Mild Disease'

JOHANNESBURG (Sputnik) - The new Omicron variant of the coronavirus results in mild disease, without prominent syndromes, Angelique Coetzee, the chairwoman of the South African Medical Association, told Sputnik on Saturday.
