A TEENAGE girl was allegedly brutally raped after she was dragged into bushes while walking home in an idyllic beachside town. The girl, 17, was near Arrawarra Beach, north of Coffs Harbour in Australia’s New South Wales, when she was allegedly attacked about 7.30pm on Friday night. Police arrested a man at a camping ground in Arrawarra about 5pm on Sunday. Hundreds of seasonal workers from a nearby berry farm are understood to be living at the site. The man was taken to the Coffs Harbour police station and “assisting police with their inquiries”. No charges have been laid. It comes just a week after a young girl was allegedly chased into a toilet cubicle by a man she believed to be affected by alcohol.
