Ukraine news latest — Putin could use NUKES in ‘escalation of war’ as NATO warned to stay alert over ‘critical’ threat

VLADIMIR Putin could use tactical nuclear weapons in a “managed” escalation of his war in Ukraine, according to a US diplomat. The US and NATO has been warned to remain alert for signs that the Russian tyrant could use “a non-strategic tactical nuclear weapon”. During the opening session of an annual NATO arms control conference, Deputy secretary of state Wendy Sherman said: “We have all watched and worried that Vladimir Putin would use what he considers a non-strategic tactical nuclear weapon or use some demonstration effect to escalate, but in a managed risk escalation,” she said.  “It is very critical to remain watchful of this.” It comes as the tyrant was seen LIMPING whilst making a shock visit to eastern Ukraine close to the frontline.
