VLADIMIR Putin’s allies have seemingly threatened the use of nuclear weapons after Russia claimed an “assassination attempt” was made on the tyrant’s life. The alleged attack was a “planned terrorist action” according to the Kremlin, but Putin was not injured. Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the Russian Parliament appeared to suggest Russia should launch a nuclear strike in retaliation. Volodin raged: “An attack on the President is an attack on Russia. There can be no negotiations. We will demand the use of weapons that are capable of stopping and destroying the Kyiv terrorist regime.” This comes as Ukraine’s President Zelensky called on the International Criminal Court to arrest the Russian dictator on a visit to the Hague today.
