Ukraine news latest — Vladimir Putin warned by Wagner Chief as Russian soldiers accused of ‘treason’ on the frontline

VLADIMIR Putin has been warned by the Wagner Group warlord that Russian generals were trying to “deceive” the tyrant. Yevgeny Prigozhin has claimed in a video posted on Telegram that Russian officials are trying to “deceive” Vladimir Putin over the army’s failings and that the state is “unable to defend the country”. In the video Prigozhin said: “This is really bad. If it goes on like this, we will not be able to fight. “If all the tasks are being carried out in such a way as to deceive the commander-in-chief [Putin], then either he will rip your arse or the Russian people, who will be angry if the war is lost.” He added that some soldiers in Ukraine have committed acts of “treason” after “one of the units of the defense ministry ran away from one of our flanks … exposing the front”.
