US House Clears Funding Bill to Avert Government Shutdown

The US House of Representatives approved on Thursday a bill to avoid a US government shutdown, which will begin at midnight on Friday evening without additional funding. However, the Senate must still approve the measure before US President Joe Biden can sign it into law and avert the crisis.
